SENTINEL

In many situations, individuals may have a thin credit file — or none at all. Or you need to investigate a case of identity theft. So you need to rely on other types of information specific to the individual. Sentinel generates a set of random, multiple-choice questions based on information acquired from standard inputs such as name and address, or Social Security number. It can use in- or out-of-wallet data found within the SourceCheck database. The individual must pass the predetermined number of questions you define to be authenticated, producing a clear-cut result of “pass” or “fail.” This solution is tailored easily to your operational requirements to support decision-making.

GATEKEEPER

This one-to-one solution validates individuals’ identities prior to transacting business using their Social Security number. Because it validates only a segment of the Social Security number, it effectively safeguards the individual’s private information.

DATA AUTHENTICATION SCORE

There may be times when you need to verify identity to approve new service, prioritize collections efforts or make other business decisions, but it is not possible, desirable or cost-efficient to pull credit bureau files. Our Data Authentication Score solution is a highly effective way to mitigate risk and reduce potential for fraud. It validates identity by comparing information supplied by the individual with public information on file. Using a proprietary, nontraditional scoring methodology, it assigns a score to an individual based on inputs of name, address and phone number. These verification results enable you to rank order contacts and allocate resources accordingly for collections or marketing efforts.

SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER VALIDATION

This helpful solution validates Social Security numbers supplied as identification. Results generated include the date and state of issue, and affirmation of the number’s validity — confirmation that it was issued by the Social Security Administration, and date of death if the number is associated with a deceased individual. This authentication solution is a valuable tool for mitigating risk, reducing fraud and improving portfolios by enabling businesses to extend services to or pull credit for appropriate individuals.

DRIVERS LICENSE VERIFICATION

When it is essential to confirm identity using a supplied driver’s license number — whether key to core business processes or as the unique identifier — this solution provides the verification you need. The search confirms the validity of the driver’s license: It generates the name associated with the number; the date and state of issue; and reveals whether the license was suspended or revoked.
